Our Rustic Fir Interior Barn Doors are made in Aldergrove, BC Canada by the experienced carpenters at Zator's Wood Working.
All of our Barn Doors are built from locally sourced Douglas Fir rough sawn planks that we kiln dry on location. We then carefully hand select each board for its colour and grain for each and every barn door. Our doors are glued and jointed together, and we use a floating panel design where ever possible. This allows the wood to expand and contract naturally with the seasons/humidity to limit the possibility of cracks and damage to your interior barn door.
To complete our doors we add antique handmade nails for that authentic rustic look. Finished with one of our non-toxic finishes which are then protected with a coat of locally sourced Clapham's Beeswax from Salt Spring Island, for a more natural approach to the sealing and preservation of the natural beauty.
